Job Description:
We are recruiting a HR Advisor with strong HR generalist skills, strong employee relations knowledge and strategic vision to join a dynamic support services organisation with an impressive expansion record to date. This company is a major force in its field and employs over 35,000 people in the uk.
The role is regional covering the London area.
As HR Advisor you will have the autonomy to provide a pragmatic and comprehensive operational HR support to the Senior Management Team within this separate business unit.
It is envisaged your overall approach will be that of a business partner providing commercially focussed solutions on people issues in line with the business plan.
In addition your role will also involve:
- Identifying key issues such as staff retention, absence management and the implementation of your strategies designed to have a positive commercial impact.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Trade Union representatives and employee forums.
- Taking a lead in the HR workstream projects covering change management issues, re-structures and group HR initiatives.
- Providing up to date advice on ER issues, company policies and procedures to the management team.
Ideally you will have a comprehensive generalist background with experience of dealing with dismissals, redundancies and change management issues. In addition you will be able to multi-task, possess first-class communication skills have the ability to work autonomously and make your own decisions.
